The Mitel UC Advanced softphone builds on the UC Express solution and enables remote workers to take advantage of the same intuitive communications management from a remote PC or laptop by using a software based IP phone. When remotely connected to the Mitel Communications Director via a secure network connection, mobile users are able to make and receive calls on their computer as though they were in the office. The UC Advanced Softphone also allows users to record calls on their computer and add customized ring tones. The UC Advanced Softphone also provides the usual benefits of UC Advanced including presence information, instant messaging, visual voicemail and much more.
