Mitel UC Mobile Software Solution
The Mitel UC Mobile software application allows users to twin their desk phone to a number of their choice to allow them to pick up calls wherever they are. It provides improved productivity and customer service by having the extension number as the focal point for all their voice communication needs. It also enables effective working whilst away from the desk by providing access to the more commonly used PBX (office telephone system) features like three party conference, split, hold and transfer. Mitel UC Mobile can also help businesses to cut costs.
When calls are placed from a mobile handset they can be processed as outbound calls made from the office system. This can result in a significant saving being made on company mobile phone bills.
Additionally, in this scenario, as the call is being made, essentially, from the office telephone system, the calls can then be recorded - this is now an essential part of life for some industries, notably those involved in banking, insurance and financial services.
Mitel UC Mobile Client
The UC Mobile client provides seamless integration to Mitel 3300 IP Communication (ICP) platforms. The mobile handset becomes an extension of the 3300 ICP allowing the mobile user to dial four or five digit extension numbers and to access in-call PBX features through the mobile communicator client.
OfficeLink
This feature allows a remote worker to place calls via the PBX (office phone system). OfficeLink is embedded in the UC Mobile Client and accessible via the web GUI. When accessing this feature through the web GUI, the remote worker specifies the called party number as well as their local device number. UC Mobile then makes a call to the local device. Once this call is answered an outbound call is made and then the two calls are linked together. This is a great cost effective solution for any businesses that require a disaster recovery solution.
